Product description
Prof. Lab Resin Standard Skin – standard resin in a skin tone for detailed models
Prof. Lab Resin Standard Skin is a universal UV photopolymer resin from Prof. Lab, designed for standard LCD/UV (MSLA) 3D printers. The color shade skin (flesh tone) is ideal for figurines, busts, prototypes, and presentation models where a natural human skin tone is desirable.
Warning: This is a technical material for 3D printing models. It is not biocompatible, not intended for medical use, implants, or for long-term direct contact with skin or mucous membranes.
Main benefits
- Skin tone (skin) – resembles human skin color, an excellent base for further painting or patination.
- High detail resolution – suitable for small models, miniatures, figurines, and prototypes with fine texture.
- Standard (universal) resin – easy to print, suitable for everyday use and most common LCD/UV printers.
- Smooth surface after curing – minimal layer lines, ideal for visual and presentation models.
- Wide compatibility – intended for printers with a UV LED source (typically 405 nm) from various brands (Anycubic, Elegoo, Creality, Phrozen, etc.).
Recommended use
This resin is especially suitable for:
- Figurines and miniatures (e.g., characters, busts, gaming figures)
- Design and artistic models in skin tones
- Product prototypes and ergonomic models where a neutral “skin” tone is appropriate
- Dental demonstration models (visual only – not for use inside the mouth)
Printing and post-processing
- Shake the bottle well before use so the pigment is evenly dispersed.
- Adjust exposure times according to the recommendations of your printer manufacturer and the usual settings for standard 405nm resin.
- After printing, the model:
- thoroughly rinse in IPA/resin cleaner until the sticky surface disappears,
- then post-cure in a UV chamber (depending on model size, several minutes from multiple sides).
- Work with the resin wearing gloves and in a well-ventilated area.
Safety
- Do not use for applications in direct contact with the body, food, or drinking water.
- Avoid contact with skin and eyes; use protective gloves and goggles.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Store in the tightly closed original bottle, in a dry, dark place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
