Prof. Lab Resin Standard Green is a standard photopolymer resin designed for desktop LCD/MSLA 3D printers with UV LEDs with a wavelength of 405 nm. It offers a great price-to-performance ratio – fine details, smooth surface and reliable printing without complicated tuning.

The green shade is very popular for figurines, technical models and presentation prototypes where well-readable details and a clearly visible surface coloring are required.

Recommended print settings

Specific values may vary slightly depending on the printer and layer thickness. We always recommend printing a test calibration model.

  • UV wavelength: 405 nm
  • Layer thickness: 0,025–0,05 mm (0,05 mm recommended for standard printing)
  • Exposure time of the first layers: approx. 25–40 s
  • Exposure time of normal layers: approx. 2–3 s
  • Ambient temperature during printing: 20–28 °C

Post-processing (finishing prints)

  1. Washing the model
    • Immediately after printing, rinse the model in isopropyl alcohol (IPA) or technical alcohol.
    • The use of an ultrasonic cleaner or resin wash machine is recommended for even cleaning.
  2. Removing supports
    • Remove supports after pre-washing, while the resin is still slightly flexible.
  3. Additional curing (UV curing)
    • Expose the model to UV light for 5–15 minutes (UV chamber / UV lamp / direct sunlight) until the surface is fully cured.
  4. Safety and handling
    • Always use gloves and a well-ventilated environment when working.
    • Do not pour uncured resin or waste alcohol down the drain; hand it over as hazardous waste according to local regulations.
