Product description
Prof. Lab Resin Standard Black
The standard black resin Prof. Lab Resin Standard Black is designed for desktop LCD/SLA 3D printers with a wavelength of 405 nm. It combines excellent detail rendering, a smooth matte surface, and stable printing properties, making it suitable both for hobby users and for professional prototyping.
Main advantages
- Universal standard resin – ideal for everyday printing of prototypes, miniatures, design, and technical models.
- Black matte color – highlights details, suitable for presentation models as well as final parts.
- High detail resolution – transfers fine structures, inscriptions, and sharp edges well.
- Balanced hardness and toughness – after curing, resistant to normal handling but not overly brittle.
- Compatibility with 405 nm LCD/SLA printers – works with most common resin printers on the market.
- Relatively low odor – less intense compared to some technical resins (good ventilation is still recommended).
Recommended use
- presentation and design models
- figurines, miniatures, board game accessories
- product and functional prototypes
- enclosures, covers, small mechanical parts (without high stress)
Printing recommendations
- Light wavelength: 405 nm (LCD/SLA)
- Recommended ambient temperature: 20–25 °C
- Exposure settings: vary depending on the printer and UV power (a calibration test is recommended)
- Before printing, shake the bottle thoroughly so the pigment disperses evenly.
Post-processing
- After printing, let the model drain and allow any excess resin to flow back into the vat.
- Rinse the model in isopropyl alcohol (IPA) or in a special resin cleaner.
- Let it dry and then post-cure in a UV chamber (or under UV light) according to the printer / post-cure device manufacturer’s recommendations.
- After full curing, the model can be sanded, drilled, and surface-finished (filler, paints, varnishes).
Safety instructions
- This is a chemical product intended exclusively for 3D printing.
- Work in a well-ventilated area and use gloves and eye protection.
- Avoid contact with skin and eyes; in case of contact, rinse with plenty of water.
- Do not pour leftover resin into the drain – it is hazardous waste; hardened (fully cured) resin can be disposed of as regular municipal waste according to local regulations.
Package contents
