Professional Lab PLA Carbon Fiber Blue 1kg

Professional Lab PLA Carbon Fiber Blue is a composite PLA filament with carbon fiber additive, designed for users who require not only a nice surface, but also higher stiffness and strength compared to standard PLA.

Thanks to the carbon fibers, this material offers a matte surface, carbon texture and significantly suppressed layers, which is ideal for technical components, mounts, jigs, RC and drone parts, design covers or prototypes.

Carbon fibers increase stiffness and dimensional stability, but the material is abrasive – we recommend using a hardened or otherwise wear-resistant nozzle.

Printing recommendations

Specific values may vary depending on the printer, nozzle and cooling – take the values below as starting settings.

  • Nozzle temperature: 210–230 °C
  • Bed temperature: 35–60 °C (depending on the type of bed and part size)
  • Print speed: 40–80 mm/s (for detailed parts use rather the lower end)
  • Cooling: 50–100 % (depending on the shape and size of the part)
  • Recommended nozzle: hardened steel or ruby, min. 0,4 mm

For best results:

  • store the filament in a dry environment (sealed box/bag with silica gel),
  • for longer prints consider pre-drying the filament (approx. 50–55 °C for several hours),
  • regularly check the condition of the nozzle – carbon fibers gradually wear it out.
