Product description

Prof. Lab PETG White 3 kg

Prof. Lab PETG White is a universal white PETG filament with a large 3 kg spool, designed for reliable and accurate 3D printing on most desktop FDM/FFF 3D printers. PETG is a material popular for its combination of strength, toughness, and higher heat resistance while still being relatively easy to print.

Features and benefits

  • Universal white color Ideal for technical parts, prototypes, enclosures, brackets, jigs, as well as aesthetic models that can be further painted or surface-finished.
  • Large 3 kg spool Perfect for users who print long jobs or series – less frequent reel changes and lower risk of print interruption on bulky models.
  • Balanced mechanical properties PETG combines the advantages of PLA and ABS – it is strong, more flexible than PLA, and more impact-resistant, while not suffering from significant shrinkage like ABS.
  • Easy to use Suitable even for moderately advanced users – good layer adhesion, low warping, stable extrusion. Allows printing larger parts without deformation.
  • High heat resistance compared to PLA PETG retains its shape even at higher ambient temperatures, which is why it is suitable for parts placed near heat sources or used in a workshop, garage, car, etc.

Recommended applications

Prof. Lab PETG White is particularly suitable for:

  • functional and mechanically stressed parts
  • brackets, mounts, consoles, and technical jigs
  • enclosures, boxes, organizers, and distribution board components
  • design prototypes, models, and visualizations
  • components for the household, workshop, hobby, and light industrial use

Recommended print settings

Always fine-tune the specific settings according to your 3D printer, nozzle, cooling, and build plate.

  • Nozzle temperature: approx. 230–245 °C
  • Bed temperature: approx. 70–85 °C
  • Print speed: approximately 30–70 mm/s
  • Cooling: 30–70 % (depending on the geometry of the model)
  • Build plate: glass, textured PEI, BuildTak or another surface with an optional adhesion layer (glue, spray, glue stick)

For the best results, we recommend storing the filament in a dry place, ideally in a sealed box or with a desiccant.

Processing quality

Prof. Lab PETG is manufactured with an emphasis on a constant diameter and filament shape, which ensures reliable extruder operation and consistent extrusion of material throughout the entire print. This has a positive effect on:

  • smooth walls of the print
  • dimensional accuracy
  • better repeatability of results in series production
