Printing properties

PETG is a material that prints somewhat more easily than ABS, but requires slightly higher temperatures than PLA. Prof. Lab PETG is optimized for standard FDM/FFF printers.

Recommended print settings (approx.):

• Filament diameter: 1,75 mm
• Nozzle temperature: approx. 220–245 °C (start e.g. at 235 °C and fine-tune based on results)
• Bed temperature: approx. 75–90 °C
• Print speed: 40–60 mm/s (for high-quality details, aim for the lower end)
• Cooling: mild to medium (often 30–60 %, depending on part geometry)

For best results, it is advisable to use a spray adhesive, glue stick or textured build plate, which will help ensure reliable adhesion of the first layer.
