Prof. Lab HS-PLA Transparent is a special line of HS (High Speed) type PLA filament, designed for fast and reliable FDM/FFF 3D printers. It combines the advantages of classic PLA (easy setup, minimal deformation) with improved flow during extrusion, so it handles significantly higher printing speeds without losing detail quality.
The transparent (translucent) shade is ideal for:
- design and presentation models
- lighting and backlit objects (LED parts, lamps, covers)
- prototypes where it is advantageous to partially see the internal structure
- decorative and artistic projects
Main advantages of HS-PLA material
- Optimized for high speeds – the material is designed for fast printing (typically tens to hundreds of mm/s depending on the printer's capabilities), while maintaining clean edges and good layer cohesion.
- As easy to print as classic PLA – low warping, good adhesion to common print beds, very forgiving of minor setting errors.
- Stable 1,75 mm diameter – precise diameter tolerance and high-quality winding for consistent material flow.
