Prof. Lab ABS+ White 1 kg – tough ABS+ filament for functional parts
Prof. Lab ABS+ White is a high-quality filament for 3D printing made from a modified ABS+ material, which is designed for strong, durable and functional prints. Compared to standard ABS, ABS+ offers better printability, lower shrinkage, higher toughness and better layer adhesion, which reduces the risk of cracking and deformation on larger models.
The neutral white color is ideal for prototyping, design models, parts intended for surface finishing (filling, sanding, painting) and everywhere you want a clean, uniform appearance or subsequent coloring.

Recommended print settings
Specific values may vary depending on the type of printer, hotend and cooling. The ranges given serve as starting settings.
- Nozzle temperature: 220–250 °C
- Bed temperature: 90–110 °C
- Print speed: approx. 40–70 mm/s
- Cooling: rather low or limited (only for details) to prevent layer cracking
- Chamber: a closed print chamber is recommended, or at least limiting drafts
For larger models it is recommended to:
- use a brim/raft for better bed adhesion,
- avoid drafts and rapid cooling,
- print rather slowly in lower layers.

Advantages of ABS+ over PLA and standard ABS
Compared to PLA:
- higher temperature resistance (more suitable for parts in warmer environments),
- better mechanical resistance and toughness, less brittle material,
- more suitable for functional, continuously used parts.
Compared to standard ABS:
- lower shrinkage and warping, easier printing of larger objects,
- better layer adhesion and less tendency to crack,
- generally more stable printing behavior.
Storage tips
To keep the Prof. Lab ABS+ filament maintaining its properties:
- store the spool in a dry place without access to moisture (ideally in a sealed box with silica gel),
- do not leave the filament on the printer for long periods in a dusty or humid environment,
- for longer breaks, we recommend sealing the spool back in a bag with desiccant.
When stored like this, the filament will provide consistent, high-quality print results even after a longer time.
